Would you like to learn more about starting or deepening your mantra yoga practice? Would you like to learn how to use mantra yoga as part of your physical yoga practice as well as how to deepen your meditation or breath-work using mantra? Join us at Triple Crane Retreat Center or online for this special fall session, focusing on various forms and methods of mantra practice along with how to use the mantras in your yoga practice and daily life. Two times a month on Wednesdays 5:30 - 7:00 Oct 1st & 15th November 5th & 19th December 5th & 19th Suggested Donation $108 If finances are an obstacle, or you would like to drop in class by class, contact Trevor at: trevor@triplecraneretreat.org Overview: Each class will consist of 30 to 45 minutes of Hatha Yoga and 30- or 45-minute teachings and practice sessions on mantra yoga. Mantra Topics: Oct 1st & 15th Overview of the types of Mantra Yoga, including Japa, Kirtan, breath observation with mantra practice, as well as shanti mantra. Students will learn about Om and a simple tantric Ganesha Bija Mantra and how to chant it to increase Shakti in the body and stimulate the balanced flow of Kundalini energy. This teaching will help you understand how to use inner locks both in the mouth and pelvic/abdominal region to increase the power of the mantra. Nov 5th & 19th The famous Guru Mantra, chanted in My Sweet Lord by George Harrison, will be taught and its meaning explored from a non-dual tantric perspective, focusing on the Harmony of Hindu theology. December 5th & 19th Japa on the following mantras will be explored and teachings given on the origins and meaning of the mantras Om Namah Shivaya Kali Tantric Bija Mantra Durga Gayatri and Durga Japa
