Be Still & Know

Practices in Silence & Discernment Silent Retreat with Swami Sankarananda

Service Description

TCRC invites you into a deep experience of Yoga, as we welcome Swami Sankarananda back for a powerful Be Still and Know silent retreat. Swami will guide participants into the depths of Yoga’s profound wisdom teachings through a combination of satsang (spiritual teaching and discussion), silence, meditation, chanting, and yoga asana. Please join us for this profound weekend immersion into your own spiritual depths, as you take the transcendent step from living in fear to living in peace. Fee/Donations The $108 retreat fee goes to Triple Crane to help cover our costs, and includes the retreat, meals, and a bed reservation. Additionally, we invite you to make a donation either before or during the retreat in order to help Swami fulfill his Peace mission. If there are any financial concerns please contact brian@triplecraneretreat.org and he will work with you to get you in. We do not wish to turn anyone away who is eager to participate. Meals Meals for the retreat will be potluck-style. Before the retreat we will invite attendees to bring a couple of items to share, and during the retreat we will all pitch in to prepare, serve, and clean-up after meals. Light snacks and tea will be available throughout the day. Sleeping Arrangements Triple Crane Retreat Center has comfortable beds in simple, shared rooms (2-3 beds per room). A bed is included with your reservation. Seva Seva (or selfless service) is an essential aspect of this retreat, and an essential aspect of deepening our yogic practice and awareness. Opportunities for seva will be discussed Friday night, at which time participants will be encouraged to volunteer for service shifts throughout the weekend. Retreat Schedule Fri.
